Located in the Ubaye Valley, Pra Loup is an emblematic resort of the Southern Alps, renowned for its generous sunshine and magnificent scenery. The resort is just 2 hours from Aix-en-Provence and 10 km from Barcelonnette, at the gateway to the Mercantour National Park.

Its ideal location will enable you to discover all the natural and heritage treasures of this multi-faceted region.

 

In winter, with 100 km of pistes spread over 48 slopes and 19 ski lifts, Pra Loup offers a varied ski area suitable for all levels. As part of the Espace Lumière, an area linked to La Foux d’Allos, the resort has 180 km of pistes. At altitudes of between 1,500 and 2,600 metres, nestling in the heart of a larch forest, the area boasts a wide variety of slopes and a wealth of panoramic views.

Pra Loup is packed with activities, so after skiing the day isn’t over! Try your hand at snowmobiling, snowshoeing, ice skating or paragliding!

 

In summer, the resort becomes a paradise for lovers of outdoor activities.

You can explore the many hiking trails in the Mercantour National Park, try your hand at downhill mountain biking on the resort’s 7 trails, or try your hand at 100% natural river whitewater sports in the Ubaye Valley, such as rafting or canyoning.
