90 minutes from Nice, Isola 2000 is the reference station in the Southern Alps.

In winter: Isola 2000 is the queen resort of the Southern Alps and more particularly of the Alpes Maritimes (06). The ski area and the quality of snow are always there to ensure you have incomparable days of skiing!
There are numerous après-ski activities: snowmobile rides, dog sledding or ice driving. Note also the presence of numerous prestigious events such as the Andros Trophy.

In summer: We come to Isola 2000 to enjoy a breath of fresh air and the discovery of preserved nature in the heart of the Mercantour park. You can indulge in numerous hikes or bike rides. And for a complete change of scenery, why not spend a short day on the beaches of Nice and the Côte d’Azur, just 1.5 hours away…

Our accomodation Le Pas du Loup

A true “slope-side” establishment.

Its major asset is above all its central location on the snow front with direct access to the ski slopes, the ESF meeting point or, in the summer season, to the numerous hiking trails and the Isola municipal outdoor swimming pool open July/August.

At Pas du Loup, vacationers looking for peace and quiet will be won over: hiking in the heart of unspoiled nature or simply sunbathing comfortably lying on a deckchair on our terrace while sipping a cocktail… Here everything is conducive to relaxation. relaxation and relaxation!

Très bon week-end passé au Pas du loup. L’hotel est idéalement placé, et la chambre avec balcon est parfaite, vue sur les pistes et la montagne à couper le soufle. L’emplacement est parfait. La formule all inclusive parfaite. Animaux acceptés ce qui etait important pour nous aussi. Staff souriant et serviable.

Des dizaines de fois chez SOWELL et cette fois la chambre était très moyenne , une vue sur rien , pourtant on avait demandé une chambre supérieure lors de la réservation … Pas très propre et des problèmes dans la douche . Le robinet défaillant … Bref 4 jours très moyens

Hôtel très bien placé, Pour les chambres, je pense qu’il faudrait vraiment enlever cette moquette très allergène, elles méritent aussi d être refaites … N’oublions pas que c’est 3 étoiles. Pour la restauration, c’est pas du grand luxe, mais suffisant.

Overall I found the Sowell experience Sogood! The service was excellent including the help I got from the central office when needing to change the dates of my stay (when booking.com showed no availability) . I didn't go all inclusive so can't comment on the food but the buffet looked enticing. Also , the beers were the cheapest I found at 3.50 for a small one . The room was looking a little tired and the bed/pillows were just okay but not terrible by any means and would not be a show-stopper if booking again . Literally next to the ski hire shop and 20% off was most welcome . Ski right up to the communal boot room too !

Isola 2000 ski area

The Isola 2000 ski area will provide you with very good snow all season long with 100% of the area at an altitude of over 2000m on its 45 slopes for 120km of slopes.

Winter activities

Nearby on the station you can enjoy different activities, with family or friends. Notably: ski schools, ice circuit, snowmobile, cinema, pubs, bars, nightclubs, cross-country skiing, etc.

Snowshoes

Take the highway A8, then take the exit N°52 St Isidore / Digne. Continue on the RD 6202 for 28 Km in the direction of Digne / Genoble. The direction St Sauveur / St Etienne de Tinée will be indicated on the right. Follow the D2205 to Isola Village then take the D97 to Isola 2000.
