Our accomodation New Chastillon

The New Chastillon residence is located in the center of the Isola 2000 resort, facing the ski slopes and a few meters from the ski lifts. Its ideal location facilitates all your trips, which can be done on foot from the hotel to the ski lift ticket offices, a few meters away, or the main shopping arcade where you will find numerous shops: bars, restaurants, ski rental companies, etc.

The New Chastillon Isola 2000 offers you a residential vacation rental formula in its 75 comfortable studios and apartments from 20 to 40 m², all equipped with modern comfort: equipped kitchen, dishwasher, satellite TV, wifi and safe free…

For overnight or weekly bookings, we provide bed linen and towels according to the number of occupants. For added comfort, you are free to add the daily cleaning option or the hotel formula with beds made up on arrival.

Staff were lovely and super helpful. Price and location good. Let down by poor quality breakfast- fake eggs, cheap ingredients and horrible post mix fruit juice. Everything was beige at breakfast nothing felt fresh! The ski boot room was very difficult to access as well. Overall the hotel could do with better cleaning of rooms during the week and rubbish removal. However if the location is 10/10.

Lovely location and brilliant breakfast but we booked on the basis that the residence had a swimming pool and a sauna... The pool was too cold to use half the week and the sauna was out of action. We were originally told it would be fixed the next day (twice) before it transpired that the part wasn't coming until after we left. The manageress was quite rude when we asked when the advertised facilities would be working. We had to walk through a cloud of smoke from employees on several occasions when entering the building, perhaps they could find a more suitable smoking area? We had to make our own beds and take out our rubbish, this is unexpected in a "4*" residence. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and the "double" was just two single beds pushed together. Cooking facilities in the room included a hob and a very old microwave which meant cooking options were limited.

On booking direct with the hotel we chose the room to sleep 6 even tho there was 4 of us as we like the space. It let us pay the extra for that yet it gave us a room for 4 with balcony. When I challenged this the paperwork said a room for 4 in French which u don't understand. I have gone onto the site again to book the big room at extra cost and again the confirmation came through as the smaller room for 4 yet it charges the price of the room for 6! Very bad!!!

Hotel is in good position for skiing. Ski storage room is not secure and ski stick was taken. Also, baggage room does not have a lock. The wi-fi hardly exists. We stayed 10 nights and were given only 3 free breakfasts and refused clean bedding after the first week. The room was small and had twin beds made into a double. This gave very limited space with only the bed to sit on or two dining chairs. A bed settee would have been much better. On the plus side, the hotel is very clean and the bathroom was perfect with loads of hot water. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. We would stay there again but not in a room filled with a bed!

They are equipped with two single beds (for the studios) or modular sofa beds for 2 people (for the two rooms) with balcony in the majority of rentals. Free cot and baby kit upon reservation.
