Just 2 hours from Aix en Provence, Pra Loup is the reference station in the Alpes de Haute Provence. It dominates the Ubaye Valley and is located 10 km from Barcelonnette, at the gates of the Mercantour National Park.

Its ideal location will allow you to discover all the natural and heritage riches of this multifaceted territory.

In winter, with its 180 km of slopes, the Espace Lumière, an area linked to the Foux d’Allos, will suit snow and board sports enthusiasts. Nestled in the heart of a larch forest, the area is distinguished by the diversity of the slopes, the richness of its panoramas but also by its recent equipment… After a good day of skiing, you can entertain yourself with numerous leisure activities ( snowmobiling, ice rink, indoor tennis, etc.) and enjoy the entertainment offered by the resort.

In summer, Pra Loup takes on its green setting and becomes the starting point for a day of discovery with hikes in the Mercantour National Park or cycling on the legendary Cols of the Tour de France. Thrill-seekers can try downhill mountain biking on the 7 trails available at the resort or even white water sports on the Ubaye, a 100% natural river, a favorite spot for rafting, canyoning, aqua-fun descent….

Our accomodation Pra Loup

The 3-star Pra Loup residence is located 250 meters from the center of the resort and 300 meters from the snow front.

To make your travel easier, just a stone’s throw from the residence, you can take the shuttles set up by the resort and access the snow front in less than 5 minutes!

These shuttles also provide connections allowing you to travel through the Ubaye valley and its typical villages.

Our establishment provides 54 comfortable apartments that can accommodate up to 6 people.

Each apartment has a functional kitchen area equipped with all the necessary equipment to prepare delicious meals after a good day outdoors: ceramic hob, refrigerator, microwave and grill, coffee maker, kettle and toaster.

In your apartment you will also have a television, bathroom linen, sheets depending on the number of occupants (beds not made).

For a hassle-free vacation, you can opt for the “end of stay cleaning” option at an additional cost.

Très déçu lors de l'arrivée anticipée de ma fille qui, à 15 ans, n'a pas eu le droit de laisser son sac de voyage en consigne avant d'aller skier (motif = pas de consigne). Elle a dû trouver quelqu'un qu'on connaissait pour déposer son sac dans sa voiture. A notre arrivée, ma 2ème fille et moi, gros coup de stress devant la petitesse de l'appartement. Il faut choisir entre ouvrir le canapé lit ou ouvrir les placard de la cuisine ... C'est tellement mal agencé que vous n'avez accès qu'à une seule prise électrique, celle du plan de travail de la cuisine. Pire, le canapé poussé contre le mur empêche l'accès aux interrupteurs. Si le canapé est face à la télé en version plié, il ne l'est plus dès qu'on l'ouvre car il faut dormir en travers ... La salle de bain est minuscule, on ne peut y rentrer que 1 par 1. Les placards sont pour ainsi dire totalement absents Les matelas sont tous tachés (assez dégoutant) et les draps housse ne sont que de simples draps plats qui se défont en permanence. 1er soir direction le restaurant et là, 15 minutes d'attente devant une corde rouge empêchant l'accès (trop de monde, pas assez de tables ou tables pas prêtes). Le reste allait. La nourriture est correcte, aussi bien le petit déjeuner que le souper. Le personnel est assez agréable. En conclusion : La qualité n'était pas là mais au vu du prix promo payé, le rapport qualité/prix reste correct (il faut donc acheter au bon prix pour ne pas être trop déçu)

Hôtel sympa pas très loin des pistes avec piscine et sauna. Nous avons eu un petit appartement très bien belle superficie et balcon. Buffet bien garni et bon. Juste un peu la propreté à revoir au niveau du bar.

Les portes communicantes sont très mal insonorisées et claquent au moindre appel d air . Pour que ce soit parfait il faudrait y remédier. Le deuxième point qui est embêtant c est le groom de la porte, trop dur .

Nous sommes venu en famille pour un weekend. Après une journée de ski Helena nous a très bien accueilli et expliqué les différents services qu'on avait inclus dans notre séjour. Nous avons donc profité de la piscine intérieure ainsi que du gouter. Leur formule avec les repas inclus est bien pratique. Appartement très propres.

J ai passé une très bonne bonne semaine chez SOWELL à Pra Loup. La formule en All inclusive est juste incroyable !! J ai malheureusement eu un accident de ski. Étant tout seul la semaine, j ai pu compter sur toute l équipe de SOWELL. Merci à la Directrice qui a été aux petits soins avec moi et qui m a aider à enfiler ma chaussette que je n arrivais pas à enfiler avec le genou en vrac 🤣🤣 A très bientôt

Praloup ski resort

Resort on a human scale and with a family atmosphere, Pra Loup remains the ideal place for practicing winter sports and Alpine skiing with its “Espace Lumière” area of 180 km of slopes between Pra Loup 1600, Pra Loup 1500 and the Foux d’Allos. With its 39 slopes and 19 ski lifts, you will have the choice to descend the snowy slopes with the only backdrop being the breathtaking landscapes of the Ubaye valley.

In winter there is more than just skiing

Praloup and its surroundings offer many other activities for non-skiers: snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, dog sledding, ice rink... Everyone will find something to enjoy on the slopes and in the resort!
