Access by car

Access by train
The SNCF station is just 5 minutes’ walk from the Arènes, making it easy for train travellers to get to the city. The TGV Méditerranée serves the town with fast journeys: Nîmes is 3 hours from Paris, and also offers direct connections to Lyon, Marseille, Montpellier, Lille and Brussels, as well as links to Italy, Spain, the Rhône Valley and the Atlantic.
Access by Plane
Nîmes-Alès-Camargue-Cévennes airport, located in Garons 15 km from Nîmes, offers national and international flights. Regular shuttle buses run between Nîmes city centre and the airport, making it easy for travellers arriving by plane.
