By coach / bus: To reach your family holiday destination easily, the bus can be an excellent option for travelling to Barbaste / the Albret area without the stress of driving. With FlixBus, many long-distance routes connect from several major cities, including Bordeaux, often at affordable prices. For holidays with children, it is a practical solution: you board, settle in, enjoy the ride (Wi-Fi and power outlets depending on the route), and the journey already becomes part of the holiday experience before you even arrive at the hotel.
By train: The train is also a very comfortable option for planning family holidays in Lot-et-Garonne. From Paris Montparnasse, the TGV journey to Agen (around 4h25) makes it easy to organize either a long weekend or a longer stay. Once there, regional TER trains from Agen serve several stations in the area, including Marmande and Fumel, giving you more flexibility depending on your itinerary.
